The legal agreement between Tesarac and the communities we serve.

Platform Overview

Tesarac ("The Platform") provides communities, homeschool cooperatives, and educational pods with infrastructure to manage their members, finances, and public presence. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Account Registration

  • Users must provide accurate information when registering their community or family account.
  • Community administrators must be at least 18 years old.
  • Each community must designate at least one primary administrator responsible for data governance.
  • Account credentials must not be shared and must be kept secure to protect member data.
  • The platform reserves the right to refuse service to any group for legitimate safety or legal reasons.

Community Microsites

  • Communities are responsible for the content they publish on their public-facing pages.
  • Content must adhere to our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Policy.
  • The platform provides customization tools but retains ownership of the underlying technology and layout engine.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies or endangers users.
  • A "Powered by Tesarac" attribution must remain visible on all public community pages.

Subscriptions and Payments

  • Subscription fees (Seed, Sprout, Forest) are billed monthly according to the plan selected.
  • Changes to platform pricing will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
  • Refunds are generally not provided. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion (e.g., in the event of technical errors).
  • Tesarac does not charge transaction fees on community payments processed externally or via "Slip & Verify".
  • Tesarac is not responsible for verifying the authenticity of payment slips uploaded by members. Community administrators are solely responsible for validating external payments.

Termination & Data Export

  • Communities may terminate their account at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Tesarac may terminate accounts that strictly violate our safety policies.
  • Upon termination, communities have 30 days to export their member data and financial ledgers before permanent deletion.

Intellectual Property

  • Communities retain full ownership of the original content, images, and data they create.
  • You grant Tesarac a necessary license to store, parse, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
  • Tesarac retains ownership of all proprietary technology, design systems, and features.

Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • Tesarac is not responsible for the organization, safety, or execution of real-world events hosted by communities found on the platform.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages related to service use or interruptions.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform's operator is principally established.
