Welcome to Math Club! We are a group of local families who believe math is better when explored together. Unlike a tutoring center, we are a cooperative: parents run the board, lead the activities, and organize the snacks, while our kids build deep friendships through problem-solving.
Our Mission
To foster a lifelong love of mathematics through community-based learning. We aim to support one another in raising curious, confident problem solvers by providing a safe, fun environment where it's okay to make mistakes and exciting to find solutions.
Meet Our Team
Dedicated individuals working together to serve our community.
Marcus Rivera
Lead parent volunteer who oversees the club's operations, secures the venue, presides over parent meetings, and serves as the primary contact for families.
Rachel Moore
Manages the club's finances, collects semester dues, handles payments for competition registrations (AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS), and reimburses supply costs.
David Chen
Maintains membership rosters, records minutes during board meetings, and handles weekly email communications to parents regarding schedules and homework.
John Doe
Parent with a math background responsible for selecting weekly topics, finding engaging puzzles/games, and ensuring activities are age-appropriate for the 8-14 range.
