Uranus has been on this board the entire time. You could not see it. It has been sitting in a square you walked past every night for years, too dim to register, too distant to track without the right tools. On November 25th, it reaches opposition — its closest point to Earth, its brightest moment of the year. The hidden piece is finally visible. We are gathering to ask the only question that matters: if Uranus was always there, what else have we been missing?
Finding the Square
Locate Uranus with binoculars. It will appear as a faint blue-green dot. This is not impressive. That is the point — it has been this unimpressive, this present, this invisible, for your entire life.
The Piece That Was Always There
Extended observation session. Track its position against background stars. It moves — just slowly. Document the square it currently holds. Cross-reference with any Spring notes.
The Audit
If the board hid Uranus from casual observers for 219 years after its discovery, what else is it concealing? Open session: catalog suspected hidden pieces. No theory too small.
Binoculars (minimum), star chart with Uranus marked, a tolerance for blue-green.
